Akwaaba means "Welcome" in Twi, one of the many dialects spoken in Ghana. Xeny and Kumi Odame of XenKu Tours, LLC have been welcoming Africans of the Diaspora home to Ghana since the 1990s.
Their tours are designed to aid in one's desire to connect with one's roots that are embedded in the reaches of their existence. Such connection is facilitated by traveling common and unbeaten paths of the Gold Coast, from the city streets to the countryside, from the savannah to the forest, beaches to waterfalls, festive gatherings to festivals and meeting strangers and family along the way while enjoying all things African among small groups of friends.

$200 Deposit is non-refundable. All payments to XenKu Tours, LLC are non-refundable after December 1, 2026. Reservations made after December 1, 2026 are subject to higher deposits and fees.
